Sewage Treatment Plants

Sewage treatment is the process of removing contaminants from household & industrial sewage. The prime objective is removal of suspended solids, BOD, COD and nitrogenous matter to maximum possible extent. The treated water should be environment friendly and comply to the pollution control board norms. Sewage treatment plants are classified into two major categories– Industrial and Commercial. The treatment method is selected based on the characteristics of the sewage and projected augmentation for the future.

VEXL presents a broad spectrum for sewage treatment with following options of technology. Projects are taken on piecemeal and turnkey basis:

Up flow Anaerobic Sludge Blanket Reactor (UASBR)

Activated Sludge Process (ASP) and its process modifications

Submerged Aerobic Fixed Film Process (SAFF)

Moving Bed Bio-Reactor Process (MBBR)

Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR)

Sequential Batch Reactor

Rotating Biological Contactor (RBC)

Depending on the specific requirement, site conditions etc., the appropriate technology is suggested to be adopted.
